Diane Whitt (Moore) Miller, 84, of Martinsville, VA passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026. She was born in Roxboro, NC on September 25, 1941, to the late Elmer Lambuth Whitt and Hilda Allen Whitt.
Diane was a 1959 graduate of Roxboro High School, received an associate’s degree from Louisburg Methodist Junior College, a Bachelor of Health Science at Duke University, and a Master of Arts from Central Michigan University in Healthcare Administration. She worked as a supervisor at Duke University Medical Center and later as the first laboratory manager for Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. Diane retired to care for her disabled husband and enjoyed traveling, gardening, and pottery. She was a great lover of cats and adopted many, including Tigger, Theodore, and Zoey.
She is survived by her daughter Julie Moore, her son Tab Daniel Moore, and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Diane's life was marked by her dedication to her family, her career in healthcare, and her love of travel and her pets.
