PEORIA ~ Beverly Kay Hash, 80, of Peoria, passed away at 3:50 a.m. Thursday, May 7, 2026 at her home.
Born November 2, 1945, in Peoria to Joseph and Ruth (Willard) McCloud, she married Jerry L. Hash on January 16, 1965, in Glasford. He passed away on January 17, 2020. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one infant daughter, Jamie Louise Hash; one great-grandchild, Conner James Foster; 3 brothers, Floyd, Edward and Gerald McCloud and one son-in-law, Robert O’Malley.
Surviving are three daughters, Sherrie (Kevin) Beckwith, Terrie O’Malley and JoAnn (Anthony) Pence; six grandchildren, Kasandra Adkins, Brandon Pence, Brian Lee Shaffer, Megan Foster, Robert O’Malley and Dillon Shaffer; two step-grandsons, Michael and Matt O’Malley; eight great-grandchildren, one brother, Danny (Kim) McCloud.
Beverly worked as a demo food representative for Crossmark at Walmart. She previously worked as the head cook at Bradley University and owned a car lot with her husband.
She loved being with her family, playing games, working puzzles, camping, boating and fishing. She also enjoyed watching the Golden State Warriors and going to St. Louis Cardinal Games. She had several dogs throughout the years she loved very much.
Beverly’s funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Vernon Risner will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will follow at Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
