Bonnie Marie Amhof, 87, of Eldridge, Iowa, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 24, 2026.
She was born in Davenport, Iowa, on January 19, 1939, to Floyd and Irene (Biehler) Maxwell. She graduated from Davenport High School and went on to dedicate her life to teaching and caring for others.
Bonnie was united in marriage to Ronald E. Amhof on August 16, 1958. She began her teaching career at Butler #2 and later in the Davenport School District, where she taught for 29½ years.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and community member, known for kindness, hard work, faith, and love for her family.
Her hobbies included creativity and faith, and she loved spending time with her loved ones. She will be missed deeply by her family and community.
