Brenda Hadassah Pitts Barker passed away on July 26, 2026, at the age of 85.
Brenda was born in Fork Shoals, South Carolina, and was the daughter of William Pitts and Mamie Kellett Pitts. She graduated from Paris High School in 1959, where she served as head cheerleader during her senior year.
Brenda was the widow of Allen T. Barker, and together they had one son. She was a proud Air Force wife, mother, and caregiver.
Brenda is survived by her son Allen T. Barker Jr. and many loved cousins and friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, William H. Pitts Jr.
To honor Brenda's love of flowers, the family welcomes floral arrangements.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026 at 11:00am at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1901 Wade Hampton Boulevard, Greenville, SC, 29609.
