It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Carole Laplante (née Verreault) on August 20, 2026, at the age of 76. She will join her parents Adrien Verreault and Florina Chartrand. She leaves behind her beloved husband for 55 years, Robert "Bob" Laplante, her dear children Hugo (Annie) and Vincent, her precious granddaughters Zoé and Emy, and her wonderful grandson Charles Elliot. She also leaves her brothers and sisters Alma, Aline, Louisette, Élise (Jean), Réal (Hélène), Ginette (Jean-Marc), Jacques (Cynthia), Claire (Michel), as well as her extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters Cécile and Rita, her parents-in-law, her brothers-in-law Jean-Guy and Gaétan and other important people in her life.
A celebration of her life, in the presence of the ashes, will take place on Friday, September 25, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE DE L’OUTAOUAIS located at 750 Maloney E Boulevard in Gatineau. The family will receive condolences from 1:15 PM.
