Carolyn G. Egan, age 79, of Bartonville, passed away Monday, July 27, 2026 at 11:31 p.m. at her residence.She was born May 26, 1947 in Anniston, Missouri to Bill and Helen (Kirk) Simmons. She married Grant Egan on October 4, 2003 in Spring Bay. She was an RN at St Francis Medical Center in Peoria for 49 years.She loved spending time with family and friends, and helping people. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Carolyn’s Life will be Saturday, August 1, 2026 at 4 p.m. at the First Norwood Mennonite Church, 6605 W. Jones Rd, Peoria, IL.Memorials may be made to the ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
