Carolyn Joyce Houston passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026, in San Bernardino, California. She was born July 30, 1936, in Wheatridge, Colorado. She grew up surrounded by faith and family.
Carolyn graduated from Glendale High School and received a degree in business from Woodbury College. She was employed by Bendix as an administrative secretary for 36 years and that is where she met her future husband, Thomas Houston. They soon married and enjoyed 55 years together where they had 4 children.
Carolyn was known for her home cooked meals and desserts made from scratch. She enjoyed hosting warm and loving holiday gatherings.
She is survived by her two sons James Houston and Brian Houston, 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas, mother Dorothy, father Robert, brother Richard, and daughters Lisa and Lori.
Funeral services will be held August 2nd, 2026, at 9 AM at Kern Mortuary 16120 Main St., Hesperia, Ca, 92345. Gravesite service will be held 11 AM at Desert View Memorial Park 11478 Amargosa Rd., Victorville, Ca. 92392
