Cécile Ouellet

At the Rivière-du-Loup hospital on July 19, 2026, at the age of 83 years and 1 month, dame Cécile Ouellet, wife of the late monsieur Léonard Couturier, daughter of the late dame Cécile Després and the late monsieur Edmond Ouellet, passed away. She lived in Rivière-du-Loup, originally from Saint-Honoré.

The family will receive condolences at the Cooperative Funeral of Eaux Vives, located at 48, rue Témiscouata, Rivière-du-Loup, on Saturday, August 8 starting at 1 p.m. A farewell ceremony will be held the same day at 3 p.m. in the memorial hall 'l'Accalmie'. The ashes will be interred at Saint-Charles cemetery at a later date. She leaves behind her children Carl (Johanne Perreault) and Caty (Alcide Ouellet); her grandchildren Jennyfer (Michael Richard), Audrey (Denis Painchaud), Alex (Ahlam Nadiri), Yannick (Audrey Pépin), Samuel (Maude Bisson), Félix (Anngelika Guillot); her great-grandchildren Emile, Charles, Ely, Emile, Jasmine, Eliot.

Her brothers and sisters Jean-Guy (Claudine), Fernande, Réjean (Marcelle), Yves (Denyse), Lyne (Rachelle), Lucien (Francine), Nicole; her nephews and nieces; her cousins; and many other relatives and friends from the Ouellet and Couturier families are also affected by her departure.

The family wishes to thank all the healthcare staff at Rivière-du-Loup hospital for their dedication and good care provided to Mrs. Ouellet.
