Celia Bickford

It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Celia Violet Bickford Hudson. Predeceased by her parents Daniel Bickford and Anna Lucas and her brother Ross, her son Richard Joel Husdson 1964-2017, her best friend and husband Joel Conrad Hudson 1938-2024.

She leaves to mourn her 6 daughters and sons-in-law, Dawna (Danny Cousens), Cathy (Uwe Glindemann), Joanne, Wendy (Scott Arthurs), Jennifer (Jason McInnes) and Diane (Mike Baillon), her daughter-in-law Patricia Neal (late Richard),, her 15 grandchildren, Christopher (Sarah), Jessica (Troy), Douglas (Jess) Jason, Michael, Stuart, Joseph, Emily (Christophe), Rachel (Sandro), Sarah, Jesse, Lee (Kiana), Philip (Tracy), Matthew (Brooke) and Adam (Rosalie), her 10 great-grandchildren, Knowlton, Brooke-Lynn, Bryce, Owen, Katelyn, Clara, Alice, Kenza, Charlotte and Easton, other family, friends and neighbors from a lifetime spent in a small community.

Celia was the backbone of our family, kind, strong, intelligent and loving. She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her.

Thank you to the staff at BMP Hospital who there were so wonderful and did everything they could to make her last weeks and days as comfortable as possible.
