César Wilfredo Rivera

Cesar Rivera, 65, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026.

He was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico on October 6, 1960. Cesar graduated from Manuela Toro Morice High School in 1978 and received his Bachelors of Business Administration – Computerized Information System from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras in 1983. He was married to Brenda Rivera on May 23, 1987.

Cesar had a career in information technology for the State of Florida government and worked as a Database Administrator for Florida State University. He had a passion for God, his family, and music.

He was survived by his wife of 39 years, Brenda Rivera; his three daughters, Amanda Kirk (37), Kiara Strickland (35), and Adrianna Adams (31); his sons-in-laws, Tyler Kirk (39), Parker Strickland (36), and Grant Adams (29); his grandchildren, Tatianna Kirk (16), Mason Kirk (13), Zelena Michaud (15), Daisy Strickland (15), Xander Strickland (2), and Isabella Adams (4); and his siblings, Luis Neftali Rivera (Juanita Rivera, wife) and Nydia Fe Rodriguez (Luis Rodriguez, husband).

A Memorial Service will be held at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32312, on October 10, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
