Charles Howard Blake, 81, of Liberty, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 21, 2026 at The Randolph Hospice House.
He was a member of New Day Ministries in Liberty, enjoyed singing gospel music, and praising the Lord. Charles served in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1966-1968, had a career in grocery as an assistant manager, and was loved for his sense of humor and love for people.
He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Dawn Blake, special friends Freddy & Sheryl Warren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley “Joann” Hobbs Blake, and his brother William David Blake.
A memorial service will be held at New Day Ministries, 116 Depot Street, Liberty, on June 6, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Michael Crigler and Pastor Aaron Powers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Day Ministries.
