Claudine Aubourg

Claudine Aubourg, age 81, of Jacmel, Haiti, peacefully passed away on July 21, 2026, in Sunrise, Florida, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on February 1, 1945, in Jacmel, Haiti, Claudine was the beloved daughter of Marie Lumena Henry and Fritzner Henry. She received her early education in Jacmel before continuing her studies at Chez Med Desir in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and later at the Fashion Institute of New York in New York City.

On July 16, 1966, Claudine married the love of her life, Paul Aubourg, in Zaire, Africa. Together they shared sixty years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, faith, devotion, and family.

Claudine was a talented seamstress whose creativity and skill touched the lives of many. Above all, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring homemaker who took great pride in creating a warm and welcoming home for her family. Her gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and compassionate heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. She was an active member of her church communities in both New York and Florida, where her kindness, generosity, and dedication to serving others reflected the strength of her faith.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Paule Claudelle Aubourg, and her parents, Marie Lumena Henry and Fritzner Henry.

Claudine's memory will be forever cherished by her devoted husband, Paul Aubourg; her loving children, Clidiane, Richard, Val, Claude, Jean, and Jaquin; her treasured grandchildren; as well as many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were enriched by her love and friendship.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 12:00 p.m. on August 10, 2026, at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home.

The Aubourg family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all of their relatives, friends, and loved ones for the many prayers, expressions of sympathy, and acts of kindness shown during this difficult time. Claudine's love, grace, and legacy of faith will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
