Clinton Miles Schrader, 72, of Portland, Oregon, passed away on June 8, 2026.
Born on July 8, 1953, Clint grew up in Cataldo, Idaho, and graduated from Kellogg High School. An active member of 4-H in his youth, he developed a lifelong love of animals that remained a quiet joy throughout his life.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from Washington State University and eventually settled in Portland, where he would make his home for the rest of his life.
Clint co-founded and operated several travel agencies — The Travel Company, InTouch Travel, and World Accents Travel. His work sparked a deep passion for travel, and he led countless adventures around the world, sharing his sense of wonder and discovery with others.
Later in life, he pursued a creative path, founding Clint’s Glass Creations and exploring his artistic side through glasswork.
He is survived by his son Eric, daughter Bridget, grandson Jensen, sisters Vicky, Sandy, and Twyla, and countless friends. Clint shared a special bond with his beloved animals; he is at rest with his favorite four-leggers Sapphire, Annie, and Sammy. His longtime dog Dobbie stayed by his side until the very end, nursing him with gentle devotion.
Clint’s adventurous spirit, love of animals, and creative heart will be remembered by all who knew him.
