Crystal Lee Dana Hunter

Crystal Hunter was a native of Mobile, Alabama, resident of Orville, Alabama. She was born on December 26, 1972, to the late Lois Hickenbottom, dad Theodore Hickenbottom who raised her. She gained her wings suddenly on August 28, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Hunter, Sr.; parents; brother; and sister.

Crystal was a loving daughter, devoted mother and grandmother, cherished sister, and friend.

She will always be remembered for the love she shared and the memories she created and the special place she held in hearts of all those who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memories five children: Jessica (Michael) Law, Viola (Curtis) Hunter, Felicia Hunter, Jessie Hunter, Jr., and Isah Hunter; seven grandkids: Armadia, Elijah, Jakira, Jacorey, Kingston, Ja’lynn, and Amir; one stepdaughter; two step-grands; siblings: late Cecelia (Cindy) Woods, Ada (Michael B.) Woods, late Danny Lowery, Sabrina Hickenbottom; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Visitation for Crystal will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, with a Homegoing Celebration beginning in the chapel immediately following.
