Curtis E Thomas

Curtis E. Thomas, 65, of Hurricane, passed away July 23, 2026 at his home after a short illness.He was born February 9, 1961 in Huntington, the son of James and Lillian Thomas. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister Betty Black.Curtis was a hard-working man. He enjoyed working with his hands and was always ready for a new project. He loved spending time outdoors with friends and family. Always ready to lend a helping hand, Curtis was a friend to many, including neighbors near and far. He was proud to have hand built a beautiful camp on the Greenbrier River which was the place where countless memories were made with loved ones. He attended church at Scary Creek Church of God and was recently saved. He dearly loved his dogs Lily, Boo-Boo and Smokey as well as his grand-pups Clover, KiKi, Pepe and Piper. He will be sorely missed by his family and loved ones.
