Dan Metts Miller

Dan Metts Miller, age 79, passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 26, 2026.Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall Miller and Carrie Mae Miller; his wife, Helen Beatrice Miller; and his sister, Jane Murphy.He is survived by his children, Tiffany (Patrick) Cayton, Robert Miller, Tracie (Jered) Smith, and Ryan (Brittney) Miller. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Landon, Evan, Ella, Bryan, Brayley, Lacey, Bryanna, Braxton, and Bryson.A 1965 graduate of Milton High School, Dan served in the United States Air Force for eight years. Following his military service, he worked as a plumber and operated his own business for many years before beginning a career with Home Depot in 1993, where he worked for over 20 years.Dan’s life was marked by years of hard work, service, and dedication to providing for his family. He leaves behind many memories that will continue to be shared by those who knew him.The family will hold a private celebration of life.
