Dan Stephen King, 77, of Mountainburg, passed away Monday, July 20, 2026 in Van Buren. He was born June 20, 1949 in Austin, Texas to the late John and Mary Ruth (McGregor) King. He had worked for Watkins Monuments.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha King.
He is survived by two daughters, Stacey Parker and husband Charles of Alma, and Melissa Meadors of Rudy; a brother, Johnny King of Austin; five grandchildren, Taylor Parker, Kayla Tatum, Austin Meadors, Madison Jones, and Ethan Parker; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2026 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Pope Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
