Danny Ray Camden, 57, of Hope Mills, North Carolina, was born in Roanoke, Virginia, on July 27, 1968, and passed away on July 23, 2026.
He earned a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Webster University, and served in the United States Army from 1986 until his retirement in 2008. His military honors include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, among others. Danny was known for his kindness, integrity, and dedication, embodying the qualities of an Army Rigger—precision, discipline, and unwavering commitment.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Linda Camden, and is survived by his aunt, Sara Pentecost, along with other relatives and friends. A funeral service with military honors was held at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, Fayetteville, NC.
Danny’s life was marked by service, honor, and deep love for his family and his cats, and he will be remembered for his gentle spirit and quiet strength.
