Darrell Lee Rose

Darrell Lee Rose was born March 28, 1942. He died of Alzheimer’s on May 8th, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents Don B Rose & Regina Rose.

Darrell was the father of three: Brent Rose (Michelle), Gina Isaac (Evart) and Dean Rose (Angie).

He married Jo A. Rose on December 23, 1983, and was stepfather to three: Scott Kupcho (Amy), Cami Schmidt (Jim) and Kevin Kupcho (Melanie).

He was also a loving grandpa and great-grandpa to many.

He worked for Kansas City Power & Light, then as a Customer Service Rep. for AT&T. He also worked at Foxwood Springs in Raymore. He loved helping the people there.

Visitation will be held at Lord of Love Lutheran Church, 8306 E 171st Street, Belton, Missouri 64012, on May 30, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, followed by a Celebration of Life at the same location from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. A Committal will take place on May 30, 2026, at Mount Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Kupcho, Karson Kupcho, Will Isaac, Brandon Rose, and Daniel Kupcho, with Tyler Kupcho serving as an honorary pallbearer.

Darrell’s final resting place will be at Mount Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, in Row 25, Lot 20, Space 16.
