It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Bryant Anderson, who departed this life peacefully on June 5, 2026, at the age of 61.David was born on March 21, 1965, in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, to the late William James Anderson and Ida Faye Anderson.David graduated from Grant High School in 1983 and continued his education by earning an Associate of Science degree in Business, with a focus on web design, from Heald College. He later earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Concord College. Throughout his career, David’s work reflected his creativity, dedication, and commitment to excellence.David’s life was marked by a deep love for his family. He cherished family gatherings, celebrations, and barbecues, and he especially treasured caring for his mother. He found great joy in the walks and adventures they shared, exploring favorite places and creating memories that will be forever treasured.His compassion extended beyond his family through his volunteer work with Special Olympics, where he dedicated his time and energy to supporting individuals with disabilities. An avid runner, David also participated in marathons with Nike, demonstrating the determination, perseverance, and enthusiasm for life that characterized him so well.Although his time with us was far too short, David’s life was filled with meaningful experiences, lasting friendships, and unwavering love for his family and community.David was preceded in death by his brother, William James Anderson Jr. (December 26, 2021), and his nephew, Ryan Gilbert Sanders (July 16, 2023).He is survived by his siblings: Mary Ruth Harriott (James), Sandra Faye Sanders, Michael Floyd Anderson, Walter Jacob Anderson (Kelli), John Francis Anderson, and Kenneth Paul Anderson (Ali). He is also survived by his aunt, Louise McBee; his uncle, David Cole (Barbara); numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.David’s remains will be scattered on June 20th, 2026 at 7:30am by his family at Cannon Beach, Oregon near Haystack Rock, a place he personally chose. There will be a video taken with song "He Will Call" goes with the Bible Verse Job 14:14, 15. Afterwards, family will gather at the Wayfarer Restaurant. David’s favorite colors are purple and pink.David’s kindness, generosity, and love for those around him will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
