David Karshner, 88 of Bolivia, NC, passed on July 23, 2026, at Lower Cape Fear Life Care with his family by his side.
David was born August 19, 1937; son of the late, Hugh and Thelma Karshner. He served his country in the United States Navy. David served as a pastor of Concord Baptist Church and worked in jail ministry. He witnessed to everyone he met through his christian t-shirts. His favorite verse being John 3:16.
David married Thalia Conger Karshner, November 27, 1959.
Along with his wife, he is survived by, children, David Karshner, Lorena Beckett, and Sherri Combs; many grandchildren; great grandchildren and his brother Lonnie Karshner.He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Karshner and several siblings.In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in honor of David Karshner to your choice of Cancer Associations.
