Denise Robin Land

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Denise Robin Land, she passed peacefully on Saturday September 12th with family by her side.

Denise was a loving, caring, kind, joyful woman. She loved being around her family and friends, had a great sense of humor to anyone and everyone she met, she loved to dance whenever she would hear music. She loved exploring and meeting new people. Denise was a hard worker, and she will be missed very deeply by her loved ones and anyone who got to know her.

Denise is predeceased by her parents Bernice Land and Dennis Fobister, her grandbaby Bronowyn June. Grandparents Mary Louise Fobister, Alex Fobister, Evelyn Land. Aunties, Audry Assin, Beverly Assin, Delores Land. Uncles, Roy Fobister, Norman Fobister, Ricky Fobister. Her cousins Olivia Land, Cheryl and Melody Assin.

She is survived by her common law partner Robert P., her children Shaylyn H, Joseph H, Melodie H. Her grandchildren Dominick M, Leliana M and Josiah H. Her siblings Leonard L, Trish L, Krista F and Desiree K. Stepmother Veronica F. Childhood friends Evangeline A, Natalie F, Stephanie K and Nina S. First cousins Roseanna F, Nora F, Leona S, Parker S, Burton, Valerie L, Farrah, Vicky, Nathan, Patrick Jr, Jocelyn, Carole, Selena, Shelley, Abert, Tarra and Matilda. Aunties and Uncles, Laura Lee L, Patrick L, Harry F. Her nieces and nephews, Abigail K, Shanay K, Florence K, Bobby L.S, Eli Jr. L.S, Valencia L.S, Alexia L.S, Clarence L.S, Aurora K, Alex K, Zachery L, Carmen L, Virginia L, Rolena L, Chris Jr L, Athena M, Ares F, Pierre P, Tony L, Saphyre F, Denny F, April H, Kristopher F, Mercedes L and many more friends and family that’s too numerous to mention.

The family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to the LOTW Kenora Hospital for their care for Denise, keeping her comfortable.”

Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church, 510 2nd St S, Kenora, Ontario on September 17, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. A wake service will be held at Trapper's Building in Grassy Narrows, Ontario on September 17, 2026 beginning at 2:00 pm.

Funeral Service will take place at Trapper's Building in Grassy Narrows, Ontario on September 19, 2026 at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Grassy Narrows, Ontario.
