Denise Roy

Alle in Rivière-du-Loup, at the Centre hospitalier de Rivière-du-Loup, on August 24, 2026, aged 88 years and 3 months, dame Denise Roy, daughter of the late dame Rose-Alma Pelletier and the late monsieur Adélard Roy, has passed away.

She resided in Rivière-du-Loup. The family will receive condolences at the Coopérative funéraire des Eaux vives located at 48, rue Témiscouata, Rivière-du-Loup, on Sunday, September 20 starting at 12 p.m. A farewell ceremony will be held the same day at 2 p.m. in the salle commémorative l'Accalmie, and from there, to the Saint-Ludger cemetery.

She leaves behind her sister Céline (deceased Réal Desroches); her nephews and nieces Marie-Claude (deceased Claude Godbout), Mario (Sylvie Dumont), Nathalie (Carl Dubreuil), Annie (Frédéric Gendron and their children David and Valérie), Line (Hubert Pelletier), Michel (Guylaine Gendron), Sonia (Stéphane Gendron), Bruno, Sonia (Jean-Pierre Poirier), Brigitte (Yannick Berthiaume), Annick (Sandra Reynaert); her friend Cécile Gagnon.

The family wishes to thank all the staff members of the Rivière-du-Loup Hospital Center, as well as those of the Bâtisseurs seniors' residence for their dedication and the good care provided to Mme Denise.
