Diania Kay Mayes

Diania Kay Mayes, age 74, was born on June 6, 1952, and departed this life for her heavenly home on August 23, 2026. She was saved at a young age and was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Juanita Fletcher, as well as her siblings, Bobby and Mitchell Fletcher and Carolyn Skaggs.

Diania is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Lloyd Mayes, and her children, Debbie and Scotty Mayes.

She leaves behind her granddaughters, Amber Mayes, Samantha Mayes, Haley (Mikel) Smiddy, and Cheyanne (Alex) Musick. She is also survived by her grandsons, Jeffery Thompson, Bradley Thompson, Austin Mayes, and Ryder Mayes, as well as her great-grandchildren, Alex, Keylee, Jordyn, Remington, Avery, Colson, and Baby Ruger.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, along with a host of other family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Serving as pallbearers are Jeffery Thompson, Bradley Thompson, Mikel Smiddy, Brian Wilder, Michael Fletcher, and Jason Ousley.

Honorary pallbearers are Austin Mayes, Alex Mayes, Ryder Mayes, Remington Howerton, Avery Simmons, and Colson Simmons.

The family will receive friends on Friday August 28, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will begin at 7:00 PM on Friday. A graveside service will be held Saturday August 29, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Fairview Cemetery.
