It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Donald James Russell, at his residence on Saturday May 23rd, at the age of 69.
Born in Huntingdon, Quebec, on October 26, 1956, Donald was the loving son of the late Napoleon Russell and late Violet May Rafter.
Donald was the beloved husband of Marguerite Marie Richer, and the cherished father and stepfather of Kirk (Pamela), Curtis, Julie (Eddy), Donald Jr., and Julia (Jeffrey). He was also a proud grandfather of Angel, Jony, Bradley, Branden, Hayden, Cody, Ethen, Zoey, Samantha, Kaylee, Aleena, Carlten, Blanche, Landon, and Ryen; and loving great-grandfather of Jasper and Skye. Donald leaves behind his brother and sister’s whom he loved dearly.
Donald will be remembered for his love of family, his kindness, and the many memories shared with those who knew and loved him.
In keeping with Donald’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lahaie & Sullivan, West Branch (20 Seventh Street West, Cornwall).
