Donald S. Arasimowicz, Sr. age 78 passed on April 16, 2026. He was born on February 1, 1948 in New Britain, CT to Frances (Ferone) Arasimowicz and Stephen Arasimowicz.
He was devoted Father, Papa, Husband, Brother, Uncle and Friend who be will be remembered for his kindness, humor generosity and work ethic. He worked for the Department of Corrections and Alternative Incarceration programs. He was well respected by his fellow employees and his peers.
He found joy spending time with family and friends, fishing, golf, watching movies with family especially Harry Potter.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Murphy. His son, Donald Arasimowicz Jr. and his wife Jennifer and their children, Brandon, Victoria, Donald III. and Raine. His daughter Kortney and her husband Joe Balsamo and their children Sam, Tatum and Brennan. His sister, Rosemarie "Cookie" McClellan. His brother Michael Arasimowicz and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his loving wife, Karen Lee Tatum Arasimowicz, his sister Barbara Grant, his brother George Arasimowicz Sr., his brother Stephen Arasimowicz Sr, and his brother Jimmy Arasimowicz Sr.
He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
The service will held on Saturday, May 9th at New Britain Memorial-Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave, New Britain, CT 06053. Calling hours are from 10am-12pm. A celebration of Life service will be held at the Funeral Home at 12PM
