Dorothy Pope (née Medicoff)

17 septembre 2026 Montréal, Quebec Paperman & Fils

It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our dear mother, Dorothy, on September 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, shortly after celebrating her 91st birthday.

Beloved wife of the late Ben Pope. Loving and devoted mother of Barbara (Scott), Robin, Jacqui, and the late Andrew (Saleesa). Cherished Bubby of Benjamin (Florencia).

Dear sister and sister-in-law of Sydney and Hannah Medicoff, the late David Medicoff, and the late Harry and Pat Medicoff. Dorothy was the youngest child of the late Edith and Max Medicoff.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her only grandchild, Benjamin. She was immensely proud of the wonderful man he has become. In her later years, she was blessed to be surrounded by love, family, and the comfort of her home.

Mom will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews, her many dear friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever in our hearts.
