Dreama E. Gwinn McDaniel

Dreama E. Gwinn McDaniel, 69, of Beckley, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

Dreama was born on September 7, 1956, in Beckley; she was the daughter of the late Harold and Beulah Fox Gwinn.

Dreama was very dedicated to her family; spending time with her grandson, she was the best Mawmaw in the world to Conner; she dedicated her life to caring and supporting her daughter during her courageous battle with cancer; she collected cookbooks; and was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School class of 1974.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Melanie McDaniel.

Those left to cherish her memory and continue her legacy include her loving husband of 50 years, Darrell McDaniel of Beckley; grandson, Conner McDaniel; brother, Tim Gwinn, and companion, Jack Covey Jr. of Charlotte, NC; brother-in-law, Bill McDaniel and wife, Ellie; sisters-in-law, Patty Fox and husband, Wayne, and Etta Meadows.

Graveside Services to celebrate the life of Dreama Gwinn McDaniel will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley, with Pastor Roger Fox officiating, with burial to follow.
