Edward P. Higgins

Edward P. Higgins of Easton, Connecticut passed away on June 23, 2026, in West Glacier, Montana. He was 59 years old.

Ed was born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania on September 24, 1966, to Edward J. and Anna Mae (Keenan) Higgins, who predeceased him.He is survived by his wife of almost 35 years, Kelly (Tymon) Higgins. His children include Edward Jr. of New Hampshire, Thomas and wife Alicia of Newtown, Daniel of Bethel, Patrick of Bethel & Brendan of Easton. He also leaves siblings Michael Higgins & wife Annette of Milton, Georgia, Brian Higgins & wife Molly of New Canaan, Kathleen Sweeney & husband Michael of New Canaan, mother-in-law Ann Tymon, and brothers-in-law Robert Tymon & Mark Tymon and wife Jana Kantor, along with extended family.

Ed was a 1985 graduate of Stamford High School, a carpenter, general contractor, and roofer. He owned Ridgetop Roofing & Siding, later Ridgetop Construction, serving Stamford, Easton, and the Fairfield area. He was known for his dry humor, love of his dogs, fishing, vacations, and spending time with his sons. Ed passed on his strong work ethic and life lessons to his sons.

The family will receive friends on July 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Spadaccino & Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, Monroe, Connecticut, followed by a luncheon. Donations are suggested to The American Heart Association or The Greater Fairfield Board of Realtors Scholarship Fund.
