Elizabeth Jane (Borror) Etter « Betsy »

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Elizabeth Jane Borror-Etter, affectionately known to family and friends as Betsy, at the age of 87.Born to William Thomson and Yvette, Betsy lived a life marked by kindness, quiet strength, and a genuine appreciation for life’s simple joys.She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Howard, her cherished son, Anthony, and her dear brother, Tommy.Betsy leaves behind those who will forever treasure her memory: her loving daughter, Lori and her husband Dave; her adored granddaughter, Erika, who was truly the light of her life; her sister, Nancy; as well as her nephews, niece, extended family, and many friends who were fortunate to know her.A devoted animal lover throughout her life, Betsy had a special place in her heart for cats, whose companionship brought her endless comfort and happiness. Later on in her life, she discovered a new passion for cruising, embracing the opportunity to travel, relax, and create wonderful memories while exploring new places. She found joy in spending time with her family, especially with Erika, whose love and presence filled her heart with pride and happiness.Betsy will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her warmth, her unwavering love for her family, and the quiet grace with which she lived her life. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and the memories she leaves behind will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Betsy’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Canada
