Elvira McKelvey, 79, of Marlton, NJ, Previously of Collingswood, NJ passed away on August 21, 2026. Born April 26, 1947. Elvira will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew her.
Elvira found joy in traveling, especially to Cape May, NJ and Naples FL, places that suited her appreciation for simple comforts and meaningful time away. At home, she adored cats, and her tenderness for them reflected the gentle heart so many came to rely on. She also loved Christmas—most especially wrapping presents—taking clear delight in the care and thought that went into making others feel remembered.
Elvira is survived by her fiancé, Richard S. Lenart; her children, Dave (Alice) McKelvey and Shannon Lynne McKelvey, Michele (Rich) Walter and Rich (Dawn) Lenart; her grandchildren, Stephanie, Nicole, Michael (Walter), Ryan, Caroline, and Austin (Lenart) and her beloved niece, Sandra (Artie) Martino. She is also survived by numerous great nieces and great nephew; Stefanie, Krista, Micaela, Logan and all the babies.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Bernie Taylor and Mary Perrone.
