Emerson Cary Walker

Rev. Emerson C. Walker passed away on June 3, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on May 5, 1938 in Syracuse, NY.

Emerson graduated from Eastern Pilgrim College with a BS in theology. Emerson was a Pastor, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, and friend to so many. He will be remembered for his many years in Pastoral ministry and Mission work.

Emerson’s passion was living for the Lord. He also loved to hunt with his best friend Guy Truax. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and playing games, but most of all he had to win!

Emerson is survived by his wife Charlotte and her children, Cheryl, Glen, Jennie, and Vicki. Also surviving is his former wife Margaret King Walker and their children Jonathan, Renee’, Drew and 17 grandkids and 27 great grandkids. He is also survived by his sister Gail Vanderpool, and his brother Mark Walker.

A celebration of life will be held on June 27, 2026 at 2:00 pm at the New Hope Church 3900 Citrus Blvd. Palm City, FL 34990. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Rescue Workers 643 Elmira Street Williamsport, PA 17701.
