Erich Polimenidis

​Erich Polimenidis, aged 64 years, passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 64 years and 2 months. He resided in Montreal.

He was the son of Mrs. Denyse Brassard (Donald Pelletier) and the late Mr. Dimitrios Polimenidis.

The family will welcome relatives and friends on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1 PM to 4 PM and from 6 PM to 9 PM, and on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Résidence funéraire St-Ambroise. The funeral will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 1:30 PM at the église Saint-Ambroise.

His ashes will be interred at the St-Ambroise cemetery following the funeral.

He leaves behind his mother Mrs. Denyse Brassard (Donald Pelletier), sister Nathalie Polimenidis (Denis Larocque), nephew Alexandre Gaudreault (Claudia Côté), and nieces Natasha and Mélissa Villeneuve and their children.

He also leaves many cousins, relatives, friends, particularly his cousin Roberto Fillion, who was like a brother to him, and his ex brother-in-law Dominique Villeneuve.

The family expresses special thanks to the staff of Louis-Hyppolite Lafontaine Hospital and the Pinel Institute of Montreal, with whom Erich had established bonds over the years, for the excellent care they provided.

Erich will be dearly missed. Despite his illness, he always showed admirable human qualities that made him a remarkable person.
