Estelle Elizabeth Barba

Estelle E. Barba, age 90, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2026 in Warren, Michigan. She was born on October 25, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan, to her late parents, Alphonse and Celeste Kreim.

Estelle was the beloved wife of the late Glenn Barba, with whom she shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered around their family, faith, and many cherished memories. Estelle was the loving mother of Douglas (Heidi), Gregory (the late Sandra), Andrew (Francine), and Daniel (Phyllis). She was a devoted and cherished grandmother to Hailey (Jesse), Suzanne, Jacob (Aubrey), Nicholas, Noah, Colleen (Shane), Nathan, Claire, Kyle (Madison), and Rachel. She was great-grandmother to Betty and Judah. Estelle was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Jo (Roy), Vincent, and Robert (Lore).

Estelle served others faithfully through her career as a nurse anesthetist. Her dedication to caring for others was a meaningful part of her life, and she carried that same compassion and devotion into her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother.

Family was at the heart of Estelle's life, which was filled with multiple family gatherings throughout the year. She especially enjoyed time spent on vacations and at the cottage up north, which became a special place where generations could gather together. In retirement, she and her husband split their time between Michigan and Florida from late fall through winter, but always returned for the holiday season to be with family and enjoy snow skiing in Michigan.

Estelle was a woman of faith. She was devoted to her church and to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her faith was a guiding presence throughout her life and brought her strength, comfort, and peace.

Estelle will be remembered for her loving heart, steadfast faith, sweet disposition and devotion to her family. Though she will be greatly missed, her love and influence will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Friday, October 2, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, located at 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, Michigan 48093. Following the service, interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
