Eugene A. Stout IV passed away July 11, 2026 in Tucson, Arizona. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1942 to Eugene A. Stout III and Mary Dippach. As a son of a military family, Gene grew up in many places including New Hampshire, Morocco, and Washington State. After serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, he attended the University of Arizona receiving a Bachelors in Business Administration and a Masters of Accounting. He later worked as an auditor for the city of Tucson for more than 20 years. He loved running, finished many marathons, and lifted weights daily.
He was preceded in death by his wife Beverly Zeidler, parents, and brother Robert Stout. He is survived by his son Eugene Stout, his wife Stephanie Sommers Stout and grandson Mark Stout.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 215 S Craycroft Rd, Tucson, AZ 85711, US, on August 1, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. A Committal Service will be held at EAST LAWN PALMS CEMETERY, 5801 East Grant Road, Tucson, AZ 85712, US, on August 1, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am.
