Flossie O Mizzell

Flossie O. Mizzell, age 96 of Trussville, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Mizzell; children, Freddie Eugene Mizzell, Teresa Ann Turney, Thomas “Tommy” Lynn Mizzell; siblings, Lizzie Dennis, Robert Osbourn, Rossie Osbourn, and Mary Lula Mizzell. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Alice Barber and Rosa Lee Ash; son, Richard Mizzell; 16 grandchildren and a host of great and great-great grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Mizzell will be on Monday, June 15, 2026 at Kilgroe Funeral Home 1750 Ashville Road Leeds, Alabama 35094 with the visitation beginning at 11:00 AM and lasting until 1:00 PM. The funeral service will begin in the chapel at 1:00 PM with the burial following at Ebenezer Cemetery in Odenville, Alabama.
