Fotini Terzis

Fotini "Frances" Terzis, 83, of Newington, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on September 7,2026 surrounded by family. Born in Rizomilos, Aigion, Greece, Fotini carried her love of her homeland, culture, and traditions throughout her life. In 1971, she immigrated to Connecticut, where she established a life centered on faith, family, hard work, and generosity. She built a successful career in the restaurant business and instilled a strong work ethic in her family that continues to guide future generations.

A longtime resident of her beloved Newington, Connecticut, Fotini was known for her warm heart, kind spirit, and ability to make everyone feel special. Whether she was at a store, a doctor's office, or simply walking through her neighborhood, she never missed an opportunity to offer a compliment, a kind word, or a smile. Her genuine warmth touched the lives of all who knew her.

Fotini was exceptionally proud of her Greek heritage and delighted in sharing it with others. She was a remarkable cook and baker whose home was always filled with the aroma of traditional Greek specialties. She was especially known for having homemade Greek cookies and candies on hand, ready to share with children, neighbors, friends, and family. Her generosity, hospitality, and love were evident in every meal she prepared and every person she welcomed into her home.
