Frances "Pat" Harding

It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of Frances “Pat” Harding of Little River, SC who passed away Saturday May 9, 2026.

Pat was born in McDonald, PA to the late Paul and Vera DeBlander. She graduated from McDonald High School and Waynesburg College. Pat did graduate work at the University of Pittsburgh, and taught high school Spanish for 30 years in the North Hills School District in suburban Pittsburgh. Pat enjoyed a wonderful retirement and spent time playing golf at the Surf Golf and Beach Club, cruising, reading mysteries, and doing NY Times crossword puzzles. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Richard, her beloved daughter Holly Nalwasky (Ken), and grandchildren Emily Nalwasky and Ethan Nalwasky, both of Atlanta, GA.

A memorial mass at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. For those unable to attend in person, the funeral service will be livestreamed and available on the church’s website.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
