Obituary of Francine Gilbert

On July 1, 2026, at the Chicoutimi Hospital, aged 67 years and 4 months, Mme Francine Gilbert, wife of Mr. Jean-Yves Aubin, residing in Chicoutimi, passed away. She was the daughter of the late Mme Judith Fortin and the late Mr. Lionel Gilbert.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, and on Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, at the Complexe funéraire Chicoutimi, located at 520, boul. Saguenay Est, Chicoutimi, QC G7H 1L2, Canada.

A service of the Word will be held on July 11, 2026, at 11:30 AM at the chapel of the Complexe funéraire Chicoutimi. Her ashes will be deposited in the Columbarium of the Complexe funéraire Chicoutimi immediately following the service.

She leaves behind her spouse, Mr. Jean-Yves Aubin; her son, Francis Aubin; her sister, Claudette Gilbert (Mr. André Arseneault), Lucie (Mr. André Morin), the late François, and the late Pauline.

She was the sister-in-law of Gaston Aubin (Lise Bouchard), the late Nelson (Ms. Sylvie St-Hilaire), Estelle (Mr. Claude Mercier), and Michel (Ms. Lili Gagné).

Additionally, she is survived by her godchild, Luc Pellerin, as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, and friends.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Department A2 at the Chicoutimi Hospital for their support, attention, and excellent care.
