Gavin Riley Melton

Gavin Riley Melton, age 11, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away surrounded by the love of his family. Gavin was born on August 23, 2014, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to his loving parents, Joseph and Rosemary Melton.

Gavin was a truly special child with a huge imagination and a creative spirit that brought joy to everyone around him. He loved escape rooms and watching YouTube videos, and he often used his creativity to design his own escape rooms and games for family and friends to enjoy. His curiosity, intelligence, and playful nature made every day an adventure.

Gavin's favorite color was purple, and he treasured his favorite Squishmallow, Kippy. He loved playing Fortnite, card games, board games, and especially family games that brought everyone together. One of his favorite movies was The Greatest of All Time (GOAT), which he enjoyed watching again and again.

Gavin also loved spending time in the water and swimming whenever he had the opportunity. Whether he was creating a new game, solving puzzles, spending time with family, or enjoying his favorite hobbies, Gavin lived life with enthusiasm, imagination, and a heart full of love.

Though his time here was far too short, Gavin leaves behind countless cherished memories and a lasting impact on all who knew him. He is survived by his devoted parents, Joseph and Rosemary Melton, and his two beloved brothers Tavian and Xavier. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

Gavin's bright spirit, infectious smile, and endless imagination will remain in the hearts of those who loved him, forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89113, US, on June 13, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
