Gayl (Hubbard) Taylor

7 mai 2026 Dignity Memorial

Linda Gayl Hubbard Taylor—loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend—was called home to be with the Lord on May 7, 2026, after an aggressive, yet mercifully brief, battle with cancer. Known for her deep kindness and genuine care for others, she had a gift for making everyone around her feel loved.

Gayl’s joyful spirit brought light to every room. She embraced life fully, finding delight in simple moments at home as well as in her many adventures around the world. Raised in a close-knit small town, she later married an Air Force officer and built a life filled with cherished people, far-flung places, and exciting experiences she could never have imagined in her younger years.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Rod; her children, Trent Austin, Jennifer, and their spouses; seven grandchildren; and a wealth of siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

Public Viewing & Visitation will be held at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130, on May 17, 2026, from 10:30 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life at the same location on May 17, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A Reception and Gathering will take place at Zoeller Funeral Home, 615 Landa St, New Braunfels, Texas 78130, on May 17, 2026, beginning at 12:00 pm.

The Burial Service will be held at Rochelle Cemetery, 200 County Rd 423, Rochelle, TX, on May 18, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am.

To know Gayl was to love her. Her absence will be felt deeply, and her memory will be cherished by all who were blessed to share in her life. We take comfort in knowing she now rests in eternal peace, held in the fullness of God’s love until we are reunited again.
