Gerardo Patriello

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of GERARDO (GERRY) PETRIELLO, on June 22nd, 2026 at the age of 74.

Gerry was the devoted husband of Anita Listes and loving father to Tanya (Daniel) and Amanda (Mark). He will forever be missed by his cherished grandchildren Ethan, Anthony, Emma and Henry. He was predeceased by his parents the late Giovanni and Maria.

He leaves behind his brothers and sisters, late Gaetana (Late Carmine), Late Francesco (Maria), late Generoso (late Elisabetta), Paolo (Lina), Pasquale (late Maria), Antonio (Ersilia, Orazio (Giuseppina), Enrico (Rosa) and late Angela, his sister-in-law Nives as well as many nieces and nephews.

He will be deeply missed by all his family and many dear friends.

Gerry will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and the love he shared with all those who knew him.

The visitation will take place at Magnus Poirier Funeral Complex, 10300 Pie-Ix Blvd in Montreal, on Thursday, June 25th, 2026 from 2 p.m to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and the next morning at 8:30 a.m.

A funeral service will be held on Friday 26th June 2026 at 9:45 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Pompei Church, 2875 Sauvé Street Montreal, thence to the Repos Saint-Francisco D'Assise cemetery, Mausoleum Esperenza.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Saad and the entire staff at the CHUM for their exceptional care. We also extend our thanks to Dr. Hamlou and the nurse Sylvie Ménard.

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations in memory of Gerry Patriello, Montreal Cancer Institute.
