At the Renaissance de Thetford Mines, on September 15, 2026, surrounded by her family, Mrs. Gisèle Rancourt passed away at the age of 86 years and 1 month. She leaves behind her children, Marc (Isabelle Laflamme) and Josée (Sophie Gagner), her grandchildren: Alexandra (Simon Veilleux), Marc-Antoine (Camille Bilodeau), Andréa (Olivier Cadieux), the late Pierre Luc, Marie, Julie, and Roxanne, as well as her great-grandchildren: Rose and Rupert. Her brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends are also affected by her departure.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, October 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the Gamache & Nadeau Funeral Center, located at 590, rue St-Alphonse South, Thetford Mines. A memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. The family wishes to thank the staff of Renaissance and CIRA of Thetford Hospital for the excellent care provided to Mrs. Gisèle Rancourt.
