Obituary
Gisèle Saindon passed away in Alma at the age of 88 on June 16, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Ludger Saindon and Juliette Gagnon, and she resided in Alma.
The family will receive condolences on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:30 at Résidence Funéraire Lac St-Jean, located at 611, chemin du Pont Taché Nord, Alma.
The last farewell will be held on the same day at 10:30 at the Chapelle Marc Richard. The service will be broadcast live and available for re-broadcast.
Gisèle is survived by her daughter Lyne Desbiens, her grandchildren Véronique Tremblay (Mathieu Deschênes), Philippe Tremblay (Marie-Danielle Tremblay), Marie-Claude Tremblay (Mathieu Asselin), and her great-grandchildren Emma-Rose, Élioth, Lyanna, Lucas, and Livia. She was also the sister of Réjeanne, the late Régis, the late Doris, Denise, Christiane, and the late Lauraine.
She leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family thanks the staff of the Residence Le St-Jude in Alma and the hospital staff for their care.
