Glenna Baker

Glenna Baker of Tazewell, TN. was born on February 4, 1946 and went home to be with the Lord on May 3, 2026, at the age of 80.

She was saved at an early age and was a member of Blairs Creek Baptist Church. Glenna was a loving wife, mother, Nana, sister, and friend to all. She was most proud of being a Nana to her seven grandkids. Glenna will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

Glenna was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Tony Baker. Son George Baker. Parents Earl and Juanita McDowell. Mother-in-law and father-in-law Ben and Rachel Baker. Brother George McDowell. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ben and Kathy Baker.

She is survived by her daughter Susan McDaniel. Son Jimmy Douglas Baker. Grandchildren Bethany McDaniel, Ben (Beth) Baker, Clayton Baker, Austin (Alexis) McDaniel, Bryce McDaniel, Isaac (Kenzie) Baker, and Gideon (Ashley Yeary) Baker. Brothers Jim (Doris) McDowell and Bill (Jane) McDowell. Sister-n-law, Statia McDowell. Brother-in-law Jerry (Diane) Baker. Aunt Marilyn McDowell. Uncle Bill Jennings. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday May 7, 2026 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. A graveside service will be held on Friday May 8, 2026 at 11 AM in Irish Memorial Gardens.
