Glynda Fant Eddy, 87, passed away on April 15, 2026, at her home in Cantonment, FL with her family at her side.
She was born October 19, 1938 in Highland Park, Michigan to the late William Carlise and MaeBelle Esco Fant. After her family relocated to Pensacola, FL in 1956, she attended Pensacola Junior College at its original location in downtown Pensacola, FL and was among the first students to attend classes at the current location just prior to her marriage in 1957. She enjoyed reading her bible, cooking, and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her younger sisters Janice Fant Gilmore and Wanda Kay Fant Georges, her daughter Melinda (Mendy) Edwards, as well as her granddaughter Miranda Petuchov.
Glynda is survived by her loving family; daughters Anne Moore and husband Keith; Sharon Sanders and husband Chris, and Ashley Townley; grandchildren William Wester, Jillian Martin, Zack Wester, Jeremy Wester, Rachel Hamilton and husband Isaac, Lindsey Wester, Colton Edwards, Cameron Edwards and Allen Townley; and great grandchildren Lilly Wester, Catie Wester, Tyler Myers, Hollyn Myers, Liam Litsey, and Haze Hamilton.
A private family interment service will be held in Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens in Pensacola, Fl.
