Goldie R. Woosley, 89, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026. She was born on April 1, 1937, to the late Dred Bolin and Virginia Odle Davis.
Goldie and her sisters were known as Dred's Hellcats down in Huff County. She was a devoted mother to her 4 children. Goldie worked at Philip Morris Tobacco Factory prior to retiring.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her grandsons, Shaun M. Cromwell and Zachary Herbig; the rest of the Dred's Hellcats (her sisters), Bonnie Likins, Juanita Likins, and Vera Tomes.
Left to cherish Goldie's memory are her children, Regina Wiseman (Michael), Michael Cromwell, Chip Herbig, and Danny Woosley; multiple grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 3-8pm Tuesday, July 21, 2026, Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218.
Funeral service to honor Goldie will be 10am Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
