Greg was born April 21, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; he attended Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington VA and Georgetown University where he earned a Bachelor's degree in business.

While at Georgetown he coached high school basketball teams, played catcher on the baseball team, and was Editor in Chief for the yearbook.

Greg worked in the automotive industry for 33 years at Ford Motor Co, Chrysler Automotive, Volkswagen, and Chrysler again where he was the Body and Paint Operations Manager. After retirement, he remained active in the industry as a painting operations consultant to tier 2 and 3 global manufacturers.

Outside of work Greg maintained an active pursuit of his many hobbies. He was an avid hunter and sport shooting enthusiast. He was a National Rifle Association Pro Marksman and a Life member at the Lapeer County Sportsman Club and served as the Executive Secretary and Editor and Photographer for their monthly newsletter.

It was rare to see Greg without one of his cameras. He was constantly capturing photos of family life events both big and small, as well as local wildlife. Any visit to the house wasn’t complete until he shared the latest stack for freshly printed photos.

Greg also loved muscle car restoration and racing cars. He had an epic sweet tooth and truly loved Angel Food cake, root beer, and ice cream.

In 2021, Greg was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. He was cared for at home by his wife Linda under hospice guidance.
