She is also survived by her grandchildren (8) and great-grandchildren (11).
She was a woman of strong character and deep faith. She was known for her independence and routines, enjoying her daily outings to the grocery store, time spent at church, and caring for her home. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church and later continued her spiritual journey at Church of the Good Shepherd, now known as Good Shepherd Community Church (GSCC).
She was devoted to God and found comfort in prayer, often praying daily for her children and family. She loved each of her family members deeply and lifted them in prayer throughout her life.
She expressed her love in her own genuine ways, most notably through cooking and baking. She especially enjoyed baking cakes and sharing them with others, whether with family, friends, or those she encountered in her everyday life. Those who knew her also remember her for her wit and strong presence.
She leaves behind a legacy of faith, strength, and enduring love.

The family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to her caregiver, Maria Esmeralda Puente, whose love, patience, and dedication over the past two years brought comfort and care during a very important time in her life. She was by her side daily, Monday through Saturday, and remained with her until the very last day. Our mother grew very fond of her and looked forward to her being there. Esmeralda was a blessing to her, praying with her and bringing her comfort.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, love, and support during this time.
