With profound love, gratitude, and admiration, the Boggiano Pericchi family announces the passing of Guillermo Boggiano Corona, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, attorney, and an extraordinary example of a life well lived. He passed away peacefully in the grace of the Lord at the age of 96 after a full, productive, and joyful life.

Guillermo was born in Valencia, Venezuela, into a family of modest means. From an early age, he experienced life’s hardships when he lost his father as an adolescent. Faced with this difficult reality, his older brother, Víctor, made the selfless decision to leave school to help support the family financially and provide opportunities for his younger siblings.

That experience profoundly shaped Guillermo’s character. He came to understand that education was the path to personal growth and opportunity. He devoted his life to the pursuit of academic and professional excellence. Through hard work, discipline, and perseverance, he earned his law degrees in Italy and Venezuela and later pursued postgraduate studies in HR law in Paris and Political Sciences in England; extraordinary accomplishments for a young man who had begun life facing such adversity.

As an attorney, Guillermo practiced with honor, integrity, and a deep commitment to justice, earning the respect of colleagues, friends, and clients alike. As a politician, he worked in the Venezuelan Ministry of Labor representing the interests of both workers and industry owners. As a diplomat he represented Venezuela’s interests in the Venezuelan Embassy in Paris, France. Yet, his greatest accomplishments were found not only in his professional career but in the family he built and the values he instilled in those he loved most.

He was the devoted husband of Bethsy Cristina -Bichitina-, his life partner, with whom he shared 63 years of love, commitment, and happiness. Together they built a close-knit and loving family that became the center of his life.

As the father of Luis Guillermo, Aymara, José Joaquín, Víctor, Rafael, Bethsy, and Isabel, he taught by example. He instilled in each of his children the importance of faith, sacrifice, discipline, honesty, and, above all, the transformative power of education as a means of personal growth and achievement. His own story of humility, honesty, perseverance and determination remained the greatest lesson he could ever impart.

During his later years, Guillermo made his home in Miami, Florida, where he was surrounded by the love of his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends. Those who knew him will remember his intelligence, calm demeanor, strength of character, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family.

Guillermo Boggiano’s life stands as a testament to the truth that one’s circumstances at birth do not determine one’s destiny. Through faith, hard work, education, and perseverance, he built a remarkable life and left a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.

Today we bid farewell to an exceptional man whose story will live on in each of us. While we deeply mourn his passing and pray to the Lord for the rest of his soul, we celebrate an extraordinary life and give thanks for the privilege of having shared in his journey.

He is preceded in death by his wife Bethsy Cristina -Bichitina-, his grandson Stefan, his mother Ernestina, his father Joaquin, and his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his seven children: Luis Guillermo, Aymara, and husband Enrique, Jose Joaquin, and wife Elizabeth, Victor and wife Maria del Carmen, Rafael, Bethsy and husband Alfonso, Isabel and husband Rodrigo. His grandchildren: Luis Alejandro and wife Patricia, Michael, Gabriel and wife Morgan, Daniel and wife Christina, Alexander, Elizabeth and husband Leoncio, José Rafael and wife Delia, José Alejandro, Stephanie, Natalie, Juan Pablo, Guillermo, Fiorella, Alfonso, Daniel, Alejandro, Rodrigo and Matías. His great grandchildren Thiago, Olin, Enzo, Mia, Kai, and Cristina and many cherished relatives and friends, all of whom will forever honor his memory and continue to live according to the values he taught them.
